Dear Environs

Can anyone help me about Statutory clearances required for the following line of activates

 

  1. Generation of Fuel oil, Steel Wire and Carbon Block from Waste Tyres.
  2.   Fuel briquettes from agricultural waste.
  3. E- Waste recycling and Processing.

 

 

Can we take separate or combined (for three activities ) clearances for the above?

please give me suggestions and guidance in this regard.

    Dear Praveenji,

    If all activities are interlinked, better to take one clearance. You have to take Consent to Establish and Authorisation for handling hazardous wastes & ewastes from State Pollution Control Board and Environmental Clearance from MoEF depending upon the size & type of industry. Without full information, it cannot be specified.

    Just see if you can get some information on the link given below:

    lTo control electronic waste disposal, GoI has recently notified regulation “The e-waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2011” effective from 1st May, 2012 (http://moef.nic.in/downloads/rules-and-regulations/1035e_eng.pdf). It is applicable to the producer, consumer, or bulk consumer involved in the manufacture, sale, and purchase and processing of electrical and electronic equipment or components as in Schedule-I, collection center, dismantler and recycler of e-wastes.
